Glass Current Mobile Studio : The Mobile Shop Story
I have been working with glass for over 15 years and my dream is to open up a glass blowing studio that is mobile.
RachelEscoeGlass finally has its very own glass shop called The Glass Current : A Mobile Glassblowing Studio.
The Glass Current is the only consistent mobile glass studio in Portland. Every single piece of equipment is small and on wheels, so it can be easily transported in a trailer to different locations in the pacific northwest.
This mobility has allowed me to showcase glassmaking at various public events, festivals and markets within the last year! In addition, I am offering private event bookings where you can blow glass in various outdoor event spaces or even in the comfort of your own driveway!

Private Party Workshop Inquiries ONLY! (At this time I cannot take custom work.)
Great for wedding parties, team building work events, birthdays, bat/bar mitzvahs. You name it!
Group Sizes - RachelEscoeGlass is only able to take group sizes of up to 10 - 15 people max at this time. It must be a minimum of 10 people for it to apply to this particular quote range.
Price Range - Groups of 10 - 15 people range from $1400.00 - $2100.00 + shipping if pick-up isn’t an option for you.
What You Make - Groups get to choose one themed design for everyone to make. Options are ornaments, paperweights, wine glasses and beer glasses. You pick your own colors and I help make it!
Duration - Workshops range from 2 hours to 4 hours depending on the size of the group. Roughly 10-15 minutes for each person to make their work with me! (We can set-up a snack/hang out table while everyone is waiting to make their work and watching hot glass!)
Where -
-Workshops can be held in Portland, OR at my private studio. Address : NE 97230. Or they can be held at an event space of your choosing in the Oregon state and Washington state surrounding areas.
When -
- Evening workshops are TUESDAYS - SATURDAYS starts at 6pm.
- Morning workshops are SATURDAYS starting at 10am.
